The Actiontec DSL Gateway is really two devices rolled into one.
It is a full-rate ADSL modem that is upgradeable to the new, faster
ADSL 2/2+protocol. It is also a router, capable of networking up to
four computers, via embedded ethernet ports, with a minimum amount

The Gateways modem engine is ready for the future. It can be
upgraded to ADSL2, the new DSL standard that enhances modem
performance by tripling the available bandwidth (from 8 Mbps to 24

endless wait while downloading large files. There is more room for
voice data, as well, so you can offer low-cost Internet telephone
conversations. And since the upgrade to ADSL2 can be done remotely,

The Gateway includes most common networking features (remote
management, DHCP server option, and port forwarding), and some not
so common: MAC address cloning, Unnumbered mode support, bit
swapping, and much more. In addition, with our NAT Firewall, you
